What is Nestoria Rank?
Here at Nestoria we spend a lot of our time working on ways to improve the algorithm for determining which results to show you when you perform a search. It's a complex equation based on location, quality of the listing, and our own secret parameters. Our technical team is constantly testing new improvements. The sum of these efforts is what we call 'Nestoria Rank'.
Is Nestoria an estate agent?
No. We're a search engine that gathers property listings. We don't sell houses, we don't sell mortgages, we don't sell anything. The same way that search engines like Google, Yahoo! and MSN help you find websites you're looking for, we help you find exactly the property you are looking for.
Is Nestoria free?
Yes, Nestoria is a totally free service for anyone looking for a property to buy or to let.
How accurate is the data on Nestoria?
Like other search engines, we're only as good as what's out there on the internet. Our goal is that every bit of property information we show be accurate and up to date. Please give us feedback if you think a listing contains an error. We'll do our best to correct it as quickly as we can.
How does Nestoria make money?
We do not charge agents to be included in our database. We make money by selling advertising opportunities. This can take many different forms: cost per call, cost per email, cost per click..., and are all related to value per lead. We only accept real estate advertisers.
How do I find out more information about a property I found on Nestoria?
Next to each property listing is a link directly to the estate agent for that property. By contacting the estate agent directly you should be able to learn more about the property or schedule a viewing.
There's a house for sale down the street from me and Nestoria doesn't show it. Why not?
Good question. We can only show the properties we know about. We work hard to find out about every property we can, but we depend on estate agents to list the property on their website. If you know of an estate agent we should be working with, please let us know via our feedback form. Why does Nestoria only show properties from certain estate agents? Where are the others?
We want to show properties from every estate agent. We're always working to expand the number of agents whose listings we show. I'm a homeowner trying to sell (or rent) my property. How do I list it with Nestoria?
Sorry, we don't accept properties directly from owners. Please list your property with one of the many estate agents you find on Nestoria.
Where can I find more information about buying a house, getting a mortgage, etc..
Nestoria is a service designed to help you find properties. We're very focused on keeping our site simple. For information about the home buying process there are many good resources on the web. We recommend:

What about my privacy? Is Nestoria storing information about me?
No, we don't store any information about you personaly. In fact, we have no idea who you are. We do, like thousands of other websites, use anonymous analysis software to see how people are using our site in an effort to spot problems and improve things. We take your privacy seriously. Why don't you show all properties on the map?
Not all our listings come to us with accurate address data, and in cases where we're not 100% sure we have the correct address, we'd prefer not to show you the wrong location. Thanks for being understanding about this, we know it's frustrating. The good news is that this is improving all the time.
